Novell Promotes Ross Chevalier to President of Novell Canada
Markham, Ontario— 16 Apr 2008— Novell today announced the appointment and promotion of Ross Chevalier to president of Novell® Canada Ltd. In his new role, Chevalier will oversee all facets of the Canadian organization, continue to strengthen Novell Canada’s partnership model, and help customers lower costs, reduce complexity and mitigate risk, allowing them to focus on their business innovation and growth.
Chevalier has more than 25 years of technology industry experience. He was previously chief technology officer for Novell Canada, responsible for maintaining relationships with customers and partners to help them leverage Novell's offerings. He also acted as a customer and market advocate, interacting with all of Novell's product business units.

Prior to joining Novell Canada in 1998, Chevalier held a variety of senior consulting positions including vice president, professional services at Brains II, one of Canada’s leading systems integrators.

Katie McAuliff has been promoted to vice president of channels, Novell Americas. In her new role, McAuliff will focus on expanding Novell’s partnership model throughout the Americas. She will continue her work with the Canadian Partner ecosystem and its transformation.
