Identity Browser Error when obtaining recent activity
Hello. For some reason, the identity browser in Sentinel 6.1 is giving me an error like:
Error: recent authentication information could not be accessed
Ditto for permission changes. However for Access Events it works fine, just that it says nothing was found.
I know the test user has to have access since I logged in all over the place to test the environment. I set up the identity vault collector as per the documentation (set up the queues in Sonic, etc...) and I receive eDirectory events and IDM events. The driver is also synchronizing data.
The only thing that for me is strange, is the fact that with the javascript collectors the initUserName field is now letters like M or J instead of giving me the user name. Is this normal?
How can I debug? Does it get the info from tables in database(I found USR_IDENTITY and USR_IDENTITY_EXT_ATTR) or from the map file? Both have been filled up with info.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Compaq NX6110 doesn´t shutdown
Dear colleagues, have a good day!
I have a HP notebook Compaq NX6110 with SLES 11 as a test PC. All equipment works correct except strange fact that notebook does not want to shutdown. When I try to shutdown it via graphical interface or CLI it only reboots. In system log there are no errors about ACPI or something like that. Who can give advice - is this bug in SLES 11 or something wrong with notebook?

Groupwise Gateway for Exchange
Hello eveybody,
I am trying to set up the Groupwise Gateway for Exchange because of a planned Migration from Groupise to Exchange. Currently, we are runnung Groupwise 6.5 on Netware 6.5, Support Pack Rev. 05 and want(have to) switch to Exchange 2003.
First of all, I tried the Gateway API but the installation on NetWare fails beause with errors (pistnall: unable to load install strings). Using another volume than SYS: had no effect.
So I decided (because of research through the Novell Foums) to use the Groupwise Gateway for Exchange. Installation worked and now I am stuck within the configuration of the gateway on the NetWare side.
Using ConsoleONE (which is properly installed with Groupwise and Gateway Snapins) I get an DLL-Error inside of GWXis10.dll and cannot see the "Foreign System Configuration" Tag. I can reinstall the Gateway-Snapin with version 7.0 and the Error dissapears, but still the tab is nor visible.
So I tried to use NWAdmin, but NWAdmin says the NDS is not properly configured for Groupwise and quits with an "out of memory" error. Removing the Groupwise Snapins brings NWAdmin back to work, but the gateway shows with a questionmark and no properties can be set.
I have searched the Novell Forums and tried all the hints I have found, but none of them worked properly.
See attachment for screenshots of errors.
Is there anybody who can help?
Best regards
Marc

User move problem (to another PO same e-dir. tree)
Hi all,
1st post + just starting doing GW admin, so please be gentle....
Scenario:
1) 4 POs
2) Same e-Directory Tree
I am trying to move an e-directory + gw account for a user; however I am getting problems.
I moved e-directory account to a different container (no probs.) and tried to move the GW account to a new PO. It is still "pending" and in User Move Status I get: erorr 0xdb08 - non unique name
I have followed the gw admin doc (item 14.4.4 - Preparing for a User Move), run gwcheck prior to move, etc
I cannot find any nicknames which would be generating this error code.
Can anyone point me to the right direction???
Thanks, ric

SetupIp.exe gives "Error reading setup initialization file"
Groupwise 7.0.3
The webserver is a SLES 10 SP2
On my webserver I've created the structure:
GWClient
+---win32
GWClient holds
setupip.fil
setupip.dk
setupip.us
setupip.exe
win32 holds
setup.cfg
setup.ini
For the apache I've created an addon config for the GWClient directory, that looks like this:
<Directory /srv/www/htdocs/GWClient>
Options Indexes
AllowOverride None
Order deny,allow
Allow from all
</Directory>
<Directory /srv/www/htdocs/GWClient/win32>
Options Indexes
AllowOverride None
Order deny,allow
Allow from all
</Directory>
But when I launch the setupip.exe it downloads asks for the US/DK language selection, and after that it gives me an error: "Error reading setup initialization file".
What gives?

Novell Workstation Manager Migration
Hi
Having a little bit of an issue when upgrading some machines from zenwork 7 to zcm, After ZCM is install on the machine. The Administrator account also has users in it, Its not being created by ZCM I've not applied the DLU policy to it.
I can't be 100% sure wether it was there before I've checked through the policys in Zen7 and I can't find them there..
Any ideas?
Regards
john

SAP User driver :BapiException: You have not logged onto the
This error started recently.
Apparently no changed was done on the IDM 3.5.1 system (which run for more than 1 year) and SAP system.
( there was probably a change somewhere, but we are unsuccessful finding it at the moment)
Password synchronization still occurs but any attempt to match a user stops the event in the cache and all successive event are also stopped.
For the moment we disabled any add event until the problem is solved.
An incident is opened at Novell but no news for the moment.
Any help very appreciated.
Thanks

Issue with Designer 3.5 Simulate
Just wondering if I am missing something with a new feature of Designer 3.5
Previously in Designer 3.0 I was able to run through the total publisher or subscriber channel by doing a simulate on the Input Transform, then go through all policies including schema mapper -> Event Transform....
However with Designer 3.5 it seems that if I do a simulate on the Input Transform, but it doesn't go onto the schema mapper after it's finished processing all the policies in Input Transform.
Is there a reason why the Designer Simulate doesn't step onwards between each step?
