I just finished a two week install, test and evaluation of linux clients for my company - The results are in!
I began by surveying user communities. Who is active? Who is viable? Sure, I can get support directly from the company involved, but everybody knows it's often a lot faster to search online for the solution and those solutions usually come from the user communities.
After eliminating distributions that contain risks like a lack of support, I was left with 10 potential winners.
