ZENworks Linux Management has won many awards. Originally it won ‘Best of Show’ at LinuxWorld and Expo when it was Ximian Red Carpet Enterprise; then ZENworks 7 Linux Management won the same award later that year.

Now the latest version of the product – ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management – has won at Interop in Las Vegas.

There is a Novell Press Release here – https://www.novell.com/news/press/novell-wins-best-of-interop-2007-award/

Novell® ZENworks® Linux Management was named “Best of Interop” in the Management, Network Software and Services category at Interop Las Vegas 2007 this week. Judges from CMP Media’s Network Computing magazine selected products with the greatest potential to impact and advance technology and business efficiencies, and with its focus on cost-efficient, reliable solutions that work across heterogeneous IT environments, Novell ZENworks Linux Management was singled out for its ability to extend Linux* management throughout the entire enterprise — from the server to the user’s workstation.

Good to see that it’s not just customers who recognise the power of managing Linux machines with ZENworks!

Some Linux enthusiasts are attempting to raise enough money to run a car in the Indy 500 – though they are still a long way short.  Would be kind of cool to see a penguin going 250mph – though racing around an oval has never really interested me that much.  Check out their site here and some pictures here.
