Sometimes, though all installation and configuration of Platform Agent and Sentinel server are successfully done, events may not be sent to Sentinel (Audit Connector) from Platform Agent. One of the main reasons could be the communication port number mismatch...
If you modify the Platform Agent's property configuration (logevent.conf) file with any configurable option of LCache like 'LogCacheDir', you have to restart the LCache process. This is because LCache and the Platform Agent read the configuration file only once at startup..
