We often get questions about Vibe and thought it would be helpful to tell you the best places to get the help your looking for. In addition to the Vibe Resource Library found at Novell.com, there are a few other places with more resources to make using Vibe a great experience.

As you are well aware, the Vibe Resource Library on Novell.com is filled with an abundance of resources to help you with Vibe, whether you are a first time user or a Vibe veteran. From template Forms and Workflows, How To Videos, White Papers, pre-made Workspace templates, and so much more. Our goal is to provide you with content that enables you to collaborate effectively and efficiently within your teams and groups without a lot of hassle.

If what you find at the Vibe Resource Library just isn’t quite enough, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a list of additional resources available to you anytime, anywhere.

  • Novell Vibe Documentation: When you aren’t quite sure how something works and need a quick answer, there’s nothing like turning to the “Owners Manual” for some quick guidance.
  • The Novell Vibe Product Forums: These forums are great for those who are looking for answers in an open environment where anyone in the Novell Community can respond and help. If you have questions, chances are you’re not alone. Try searching through the forums for questions similar to yours that may have already been answered.
  • Kablink Vibe: Recently we moved Kablink to vibe.novell.com. Kablnik is an open source project sponsored by Novell. Novell has a long history of improving the productivity of knowledge workers using tools like email, file sharing, and IM. The Open Collaboration Platform is sponsored by Novell and formed around the notion that great team productivity software can be designed and written as open source projects. These projects allow community members to not only use the software for free but to enhance it specifically for their own environments. With Kablink Vibe users have a full featured open source project that offers a robust suite of functionality. To participate all you need is your Novell.com credentials.
  • Email: Here it is… another shameless plug. We are happy to help and hope that if you need something, you’ll send us an email to let us know how we can be of assistance. Please don’t be shy.

    Dears,

I am working on an application to read from Vibe 3.4 and checks the data with our database.

Example, annual leave request should before check if the employee has annual leaves in the HR database before continuing with the workflow.

    Please advise.
