Novell eDirectory Honored in Information Security Magazine’s Products of the Year Awards

Novell eDirectory took Silver honors for overall quality and security in the Identity and Access Management category of TechTarget’s Information Security magazine’s 2006 Products of the Year Awards.Information Security magazine and asked 890 information security executives and managers to assess the products they currently deploy. Based on their cumulative responses on six different criteria, Information Security magazine and editors awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to the industry’s best products in 13 categories.”At the heart of Novell’s identity and access management offerings beats eDirectory, a mature and very solid directory product that draws reader praise for overall quality and security,” noted the editors.As the foundation of Novell’s resource management and security and identity solutions, Novell eDirectory is the only high‑end directory service that can scale to more than 1 billion objects on a single server.
