This article explains how to re-create a simple DHCP and DNS setup with DDNS working in very little time. Time involved for a simple network topology: ~30 minutes!

Two PHP Scripts reporting from login scripts. The first script is intended as a help desk tool. Given a server name as a search string it reports all container login scripts containing that string, all users in the affected OUs and all users with home directory attributes that contain that string. Our help desk requested this utility so that in the event of a server outage they had a single utility that would report all the affected users.The second script is a report on login scripts in an eDirectory Tree with a text string search option.

We just heard from a customer who is looking for step-by-step instructions about how to re-create a certificate in OES2/OES11. He'd like specifics about migrating services to a new server, re-creating certificates, test scripts to find status of your system, and whatever else you think he should know about OES administration. In OES11SP1 we have made major changes in DSfW configuration during new server installation. The changes have impacted YaST configuration screens for new forest, new domain in existing forest, and new domain controller in existing domain.
