ZENworks Cool Solutions
For the last few weeks, we have been trialing a virtual version of GroupWise 2012 client. Now that we are happy that the template works well, this template has now been published to our online repository.
With ZENworks Configuration Management 11 and higher, you have the ability to create a YUM repository. This repository can be used to patch a server when there is no agent installed. By default these YUM repositories are not digitally signed and extra actions are needed.
The main reason you'll want to attend ATT Live 2012 is: you get 4 days of intense, hands-on training geared specifically for people like you--system administrators, network engineers and IT specialists--who actually do the job of administering Novell, SUSE and NetIQ products. You get the real world, day-to-day administration, usability, troubleshooting, and tips & tricks training you need to succeed on the job.

Updated: The ZENworks Configuration Management (ZCM) Log Parser was featured in the Advanced Server Performance Troubleshooting session at BrainShare 2011.
The purpose of the log parser is to be able to quickly get a high level view of the activity on the primary servers. It's useful in spotting trends, times of high utilization, response time changes, etc. This tool can facilitate baselining an environment in a "normal load" situation for comparison in case of performance issues in the zone later on.
This small tool will give you the following advantages:
- No need to unregister from the zone, before resealing the workstation.
- No more messing around with various ZAC commands.
- Your workstations will always have the latest version of the agent, that your infrastructure supports, when reinstalled.
