Overcoming the EXT3 Subdirectories Limitation for ZENworks 7.x Linux Management Server Package Repository
On a ZENworks Linux Management server installed on an EXT3 file system, the package management backend cannot create more than 32000 subdirectories under the /var/opt/novell/zenworks/pkg-repo/packages directory, for storing the packages that are imported through the package bundles. Here are some ways to overcome this limitation.

Dynamically disable the ZCM login screen for users not in the User Source
A common theme in many of my ZCM classes is how to deal with the ZEN Login prompt when users are not in the users source. Novell has provided a simple registry hack to allow this.
