ATT Live 2012 in Review

Coming off our 10th annual ATT Live, I wanted to share an event review for this year's conference that was held in Las Vegas, May 15th through the 18th.

If you have not had the opportunity to attend ATT Live in the past 10 years then you may not know much about the event. In a nutshell, Training Services has made this the premier technical conference of the year for our customers and partners.

Take a look at what attendees had to say about the event.

ovpnstatd

ovpnstatd is a status collector daemon for OpenVPN. A part of collecting data of openvpn-sessions, it also displays the data on a simple but useful web page. The program also provides a hook for sending "passive notifications" to Nagios with "send_nsca".

Piping program output over the network

Have you ever wanted to have a program's output be recorded on a different system from where it is running? Perhaps because the system it runs on crashes and reboots before you get to read the crucial last line of output. Well, netcat lets you run a program but have its output be sent to a remote host where another instance of netcat can display that output without any loss due to the problem happening on the first host.
