Novell Operations Center and Novell Cloud Manager: Working Together to Manage the Cloud
Novell Cloud Manager creates and manages cloud environments that provision workloads on demand in a secure and compliant manner. Novell Operations Center has an integration module to Cloud Manager that allows you to view the Business Groups defined in Cloud Manager, the Business Services for each Business Group, and the Workloads that have been provisioned.
With this data from Cloud Manager, Operations Center builds service models to correlate the Cloud Manager workloads to virtual machines gathered from the PlateSpin Orchestrate Integration Module. You can also correlate IT data from other Operations Center integration modules that may impact the workload or business service. When retrieving business service data from
Cloud Manager, Operations Center detects service level objectives and dynamically creates the objective on the business service workload. This allows you to view the health of the business service workloads in the Operations Center Dashboard.
