Q. I'm thinking about virtualizing a physical server that is operated by Windows 2000 with Windows2008 HYPER-V. I'd like to extend and reduce each Windows2000 C and D logical drive when I virtualize them.
Please tell me if this is possible or not, and tell me the steps to do this virtualization.
A. Yes, it's possible. For this scenario you will have to perform a P2P into an empty (no OS) Hyper-V virtual machine.
