PROBLEM: "SATA Mode Not Supported By Hard Drive Image Software" HP D530 Take a look on the HP Website. You will find there a customer advisory --> DB030507_CW01 revision 1 (released February 2004) from this old article.

SOLUTION: In the CMOS Settings you might encounter Drive configuration settings for Parallel ATA (Both)
Serial Ata (Enabled) Primary (Auto). If the Parallel ATA isn't set to Both, you may encounter the mode issue. You may also have to update your ZENworks Patch or your Kernel on the machine you used for creating your imaging CDs or diskettes so that it has more current HDD (and network) drivers.

If you have any questions you may contact CJ at goggincj@TAKETHISOUTpgcc.edu

It was contributed by a community member and is published "as is." It seems to have worked for at least one person, and might work for you. But please be sure to test, test, test before you do anything drastic with it.
