Problem
A Forum reader recently asked:
"I have a user whose client crashes every time they drag a message from their mailbox to a folder in their cabinet. This is happening with the 7.0.1 client on XP Sp2. It's only happening on one machine so I had them uninstall and reinstall the client but it didn't help. Is their any to fix this short of reinstalling Windows?"
And here are the responses from Joe Marton and Uwe Buckesfeld ...
Solution
Joe Marton
Try using this tool to completely remove the client:
http://www.nexic.com/download/gwcr.html
After running it, also verify that no keys exist in the registry under HKCU\Software\Novell\GroupWise. If any are left, nuke them and then try installing the client.

I have seen a similar issue with GroupWise 6.0, and a GWCheck with "Reset Client Options" fixed it back then.
Disclaimer: As with everything else at Cool Solutions, this content is definitely not supported by Novell (so don't even think of calling Support if you try something and it blows up).
It was contributed by a community member and is published "as is." It seems to have worked for at least one person, and might work for you. But please be sure to test, test, test before you do anything drastic with it.
