ZENworks 10 Configuration Management Scalability Rules of Thumb

While the ZCM documentation's design and scalability guidelines are still being written, I thought I'd post something very brief - that might be searchable - on this topic.

From the First Look training, the recommendations are:
- 10,000 workstations maximum per zone and multiple servers to cover that load
- typically around 1500-2000 maximum workstations per server
- around 500 concurrent workstations per server

Disclaimer: As with everything else at Cool Solutions, this content is definitely not supported by Novell (so don't even think of calling Support if you try something and it blows up).

It was contributed by a community member and is published "as is." It seems to have worked for at least one person, and might work for you. But please be sure to test, test, test before you do anything drastic with it.

Hi,

When the "ZCM documentation's design and scalability guidelines" will be written and where will be available to download?
