Print Cost is now a PHP script to help you find out how many pages each user has printed, on which printer, and what the costs per printer and per user are.

This information is extracted from the Cups page_log file and published in a Web page.

Curious about who emptied your toner cartridge? Install printcosts and type
http://localhost/printcosts/index.php
and find out which user printed how many pages and what he/she has to pay (see screenshot example).

Because even on Linux not everything can be always free.

Cost per page and per printer can be customized.

You need to have a running webserver with php-module to use printcosts.

For everyone who wants an easily accessible overview of printer-related costs.

Changes for v2.4.0:
- Better layout.
- better check for permissions.
- added check for cups install.
