Part of eDirectory health checking is to monitor for stuck obituaries in the environment.
I've put together a Nagios check script which can be used by system administrators to monitor the oldest obituary and alert if an age threshold is hit. It also outputs performance data which can be used to graph the trends of each obituary state.
To see what's changed in the latest version and to find out where the script can be downloaded from, please read on.
I need some help identifying the different errorlevels output by ndsd and ndsrepair. These will be used to improve the nagios monitor scripts I've written for eDirectory.
To learn how to see the errorlevel and to help me with this, please read on.

Why aren’t we at Service Level Agreement (SLA) nirvana? I mean really, we have had SLA tools for 10, 15 years or more. You probably have 1 or 10 or more tools that measure SLAs, of which most probably aren’t used. Why aren’t all of our data centers, applications, servers and everything else just numbers on some dashboard that we just glance at to make sure everything is good to go and that we are open for business?

Nagios plugin (or runs as a stand-alone utility) to report POA thread usage (SOAP, IMAP, POP, C/S, MsgWorker, GWChk)
Some small scripts enable you (using the HTTP monitor of the POA) to graph post office usage using MRTG. Works with the latest GroupWise versions (8.x) and is platform independent.
