Since a few days, we have started to twitter about small-business related things - announcements, development ideas, training opportunities and more. Point your browser to http://twitter.com/novellnowssbe and have a look. If you want to join the discussion, it's easy:

1) Create your own Twitter account
2) Follow us on Twitter (our account is NovellNOWSSBE)
3) Let your voice be heard! (Twitter to us by putting "@NovellNOWSSBE" in the beginning of your post)

Twitter is like a micro-blog, a feed of status updates. You can subscribe to users' updates, that is what is called to follow someone on Twitter. You can post short messages for anyone to see just by entering entering a message. If you want to address a specific user, you start the message with "@ID", where "ID" is the Twitter ID of that user.

Twitter is a good way to connect to your clients or business associates. I have been personally using it for over 3 months and loving it.

Just started to use more social media but not quite ready to do the Twitter, though I know I have many friends that are using it but for my business right now, not sure if it would be time beneficial.

I'm just getting used to Twitter to expand my business. One of the key ingredients to success is to post frequently and make the account really active and with interesting content.
Twitter is really useful to know what are your potential clients needs and tastes.

Well, I am still new to twitter and I guess that's one good way to connect to clients and to grow your starting business. I do believe social media is really powerful nowadays. Will check on that link. ;)
