Skills:
At least 6 years experience managing an enterprise eDirectory 8.5 environment. Involved in an IDM solution implementation, preferably Novell's IDM. Novell Certified Linux Engineer 10 (Novell CLE 10).
Description:
Primary Purpose of the Position:
Analyzes Intel-based Linux, Microsoft Servers and Network Services, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites Resolves interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms including e-mail, files transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing and the like. Responsible for evaluating current systems and making recommendations. Works on complex problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation of various factors. Performs remedial maintenance of file servers, applications and network devices, including the restoration of hardware and software. Anticipates and mitigates potential attacks through network, software, or other services to ensure the security of the system. Works with end users and vendors to resolve network hardware/software issues. May develop and administer end-user training. Configures systems to user environments. Supports acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or related area
Experience
At least 6 years experience managing an enterprise eDirectory 8.5 environment. Has been involved in an IDM solution implementation, preferably Novell's IDM.
SKILLS: Must prove expert proficiency in SLP, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, eDirectory partition management and Identity Management. Expert skill managing an Enterprise Linux environment.
CERTIFICATIONS: Must be a Novell Certified Linux Engineer 10 (Novell CLE 10). 2 or more expert level technology certifications in Microsoft or Novell based products. Possessing an MCSE 2003 or MCTS 2008 also is a plus.
