At the end of a long week at Novell Provo Utah, I'm sat in the BA lounge at San Francisco airport on my way home. I've been involved in a series of marketing meetings this week ( yes Novell does do marketing ) and one of the items that we've been discussing is the profile of a typical ZENworks customer. This is part of the work that we are doing in preparation for the release of Rawhide ( more on Rawhide in a later post ).
We've got most of these properties nailed down, but I'd like to hear from this community about their organization and how they use ZENworks today. I'd welcome the chance to talk to you over the coming weeks. If this is something that would interest you, please let me know by emailing me on jgiffard at novell dot com ( you can all figure that out and it saves me getting interesting spam offering medical enhancements ).
Disclaimer: As with everything else at Cool Solutions, this content is definitely not supported by Novell (so don't even think of calling Support if you try something and it blows up).
It was contributed by a community member and is published "as is." It seems to have worked for at least one person, and might work for you. But please be sure to test, test, test before you do anything drastic with it.
