I'll be interviewed by Ted Haeger and Erin Quill tomorrow for Novell Open Audio.

I opened the question list up on Cool Blogs last week - and I've got about half a dozen things to cover specifically from the readers of Cool Blogs.

One other request that came in directly to my inbox - ezs@novell.com - is to 'go behind the scenes' at Open Audio. I'll certainly have my camera and I'll get some pictures and stories uploaded tomorrow evening. I'll also have some really crunchy Doritos to pass around..

Well - there is a Success Story database http://www.novell.com/success - and here is a huge list of public successes using ZENworks.

You probably want to copy and paste that url into your favourites.

Just wanted to say thanks for addressing my question - we're looking forward to a more in-depth review of ZEN 7's capabilities with our sales team, as soon as we finish replacing our Dell/NetWare servers with IBM/OES-SLES in the field over the next couple of months.

With ZDM 7 SP1, will the Imaging Server Policy in ConsoleOne be modified so that the imaging selection rules can be configured to detect the "Computer Product Name"?

The "Computer Product Name" field was introduced in the ZENworks imaging engine released with ZDM 6.5 SP2 and ZDM 7 but the accompanying ConsoleOne modifications were left off.

If the answer is "no", please provide a really good explanation.

Did you ever get an explanation of this? How is it possible to roll out an image using the "computer product name" as a criteria?

Looking forward to hearing further.
