The DNS / DHCP Management Console is available on Linux (OES 2 SP2) and Windows. This article describes how the utility can be used to manage an OES DNS / DHCP Server (Linux / NetWare) from Apple Macintosh systems. Download the enclosed jar file and follow the steps below:
- Extract the mac-java-console.zip file. (attached at the end of this article)
- To launch the DNSDHCP java console run the script (from the mac-java-console directory):
- Login to the management utility providing the credentials of the admin of the eDirectory tree. Note that the attached utility works only with SSL connections disabled.
- Choose the appropriate tab to manage DNS or DHCP server.
This tool works only with SSL connection disabled on the LDAP
