This is part 1 of 5 parts I plan to post about Course 3113 over the next couple weeks. The course is called "Upgrading to and Exploring New Features in Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management." It's 3 days worth of content so I can't share it all here, but I can highlight some of the most interesting parts.
First, I want to thank you all for the tremendous response to the Course 3114 beta class. We were able to register enough people to fill the class in only a few hours, far exceeding our expectations. The interest in this course is very encouraging! Thanks!
Do you need training on Novell ZENworks Application Virtualization 8? We have a course coming up soon that will take from installation and deployment to integration with ZCM 10 and creating virtual applications from scratch.
This is two full days of training that starts on June 6th. It will be delivered online so you can participate from your home or office, whichever works best for you.
The best way to make sure that the course we've built works for the intended audience, is to open the doors for a free beta class, which will be taught online by one of our own ATT instructors. We would like as much feedback as possible to help us put the finishing touches on the content and the exercises.
The product team wanted content that went deeper, technically, than the content we had previously released on the Protect product. In order to help us accomplish that objective, they gave us a lot of their time and wrote a lot of the content themselves.
We've got some new PlateSpin Protect training coming just around the corner. I mentioned not too long ago that this course was in development. Well now it's in the final stages of operations . . . I'm talking about "Workload Management Administration with PlateSpin Protect," Course 8017. By the end of this month, you'll be able to buy this course for self-study or sign up to take the class at a Novell Training Partner.
Why am I writing about the coming of this course 2 weeks in advance? Why am I not waiting until it's shipping before I start making noise about it? Because I've got something to show you.
