Logical UnitA type of network accessible unit in a Systems Network Architecture (SNA) network. LUs can communicate with host systems and applications (LU Type 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7) or with other LUs of the same type (LU Type 6.0, 6.1, and 6.2 only).
