A NetWare Loadable Module (NLM) that provides a common interface between NetWare and transport protocols such as IPX/SPX, TCP/IP, SNA, and OSI that need to deliver data and requests to NetWare for processing. By making the transport protocol transparent to the network operating system, STREAMS allows services to be provided across the network, regardless of the transport protocols used.
