In Novell Identity Manager, every connector has a subscriber and publisher channel, and for each channel you create filters that dictate which information flows across this channel. Subscriber channels enable information to flow from the Identity Manager data store to the extended system. (Publisher channels do the opposite: enable information to flow from the extended system to the Identity Manager data store.)
