GroupWise: GWAVACon – Torrance, California

(View Disclaimer)

Come to Torrance, CA and participate in GWAVACon. Meet with GWAVA and Novell customers, partners and employees. This year will feature as the keynote speaker: Colleen, O’Keefe – Senior Vice President, General Manager Collaboration Solutions and Global Services.

To quote the GWAVACon website:

“As a GWAVACon attendee you can interact with Novell Product Development. The Product Management and Product Marketing Teams are in attendance to talk, listen, and act on what they learn from you and you get to take back to your organization the future and vision of Novell Collaboration.” This is exactly what you get when you attend and participate at the conference.

Novell will have several representatives present. In particular, Alex Evans, GroupWise Product Manager, Kevin Crutchfield, Development Manager for Novell Vibe, Tracy Smith, Novell Vibe Product Manager, Glen Davis, OES Product Manager. I will also be in attendance and I look forward to interacting with everyone who attends. We will also have several of our field Technical Specialists there to present sessions and answer questions. Karyn Victory, Charles Gonzales and Brian Six. We are also expecting Grant Ho, Senior Product Marketing Manager. This will be Grant’s first GWAVACon and we look forward to introducing Grant to the exceptional GroupWise community.

Of course, we will have a variety of GWAVA and Novell Partners there to share their products and expertise. Novell will also have team members there to represent the ZENworks line of products

We will be presenting sessions on a variety of topics including GroupWise, DataSynchronizer, Vibe, OES, File Management Suite and ZEN. Alex and I will be presenting on GroupWise features introduced over the last year in each of our support packs and hot patches. We will also do a session on Ascot – the next version of GroupWise due out later this year. We are nearing feature complete on this version and we have lots to demo and present.

I have not been able to attend GWAVACon for over a year. Let’s see, my last event was GWAVACon Berlin in October, 2009. So, I am looking forward to the opportunity to once again hang out with people of like-minds! 

GWAVACon is January 23-25th with a ‘Bonus Day’ on January 22nd. The conference will be held in Torrance, CA at the Marriott Torrance South Bay Hotel. It is located 10 miles from LAX.

See the GWAVA website for all of the details and registration information.

Hope to see you there!

Dean
