I was frustrated beyond belief every time I needed to setup a 3rd Party SSL certificate on Novell's Vibe. The TIDS are missing relevant information necessary to be successful, and the learning curve and troubleshooting process to get through it is a hassle.
In this article, I detailed the process step by step including screen shots. It's specific to Go Daddy certificates, however the information should be mostly relevant for any 3rd Party SSL Provider.
I posted the full article on my own company blog. The link to the article is below. I opted to just post a link rather than rewrite/format the content due to the numerous images within the article. My apologies if this is a problem for some.

The TIDs and support are missing some steps. Every time I ask I get the "Sure that would work". I have heard from old school Novell Admins that Novell Docs are great. well they must have fallen off in past years. For me I got cert from Verisign and had to use their info. I have no problem working a problem thru but it would be nice to have DETAILED info..
