With the release of Novell Vibe 3.3 the accessibility and usability of Novell Vibe became much more dynamic. The two most important features found in the new release are the Add-in for Microsoft Office and the Desktop Application. The Add-in for Microsoft Office allows you to edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files from the Microsoft Client and directly save, edit content, add comments, and collaborate into Novell Vibe. This Add-in feature is for Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010. The other important addition is the Desktop Application which allows you to make changes to entries in Vibe from your desktop while working offline. Then once you’re reconnected with the internet, the new changes will be automatically synced to Novell Vibe.
