Updated 04/21/04: This example has been updated to use the dynamically determined applet name in the portal instead of a hard-coded value. The hard coded path could cause the applet to fail if the name of the MailBox view applet was changed. This applet displays Mailbox mail messages in a custom Formativ Portal view. Mailbox messages can be displayed and sorted by the following message attributes:

  • messages with attachments
  • unread messages
  • All messages

and by time period:

  • Today
  • This Week
  • All

Once the mailbox view is displayed, you can then click on the column headings to sort your message list by Subject, Date and From. Just click on the message subject to open and read the mail.

The Refresh button will redisplay the Mailbox view with the current settings and any messages newly arrived.

INTEGRATIONS: Main GroupWise toolbar.

*The installation file contains one or more Formativ applets, a brief help text file and any data required by the solution.

Note: To run the free applets available on this page, you will need to install one of the Formativ products below:

  • Developer - For GroupWise developers. Formativ Developer enables rapid GroupWise enhancement, customization and creation of enterprise solutions. Use Developer to run, customize and extend the free solutions available from Formativ Applet Central.
