Tool
by Shalabh Garg
This tool is helpful for customers who have been using dsrepair on NetWare and have now migrated to UNIX platform.
The NDSRepair for UNIX Menu Wrapper is a UNIX shell script providing a menu for NDSRepair with a DSREPAIR.NLM look and feel. NDSRepair is a UNIX command-line utility used to check and repair the NDS database. The menu wrapper displays the same menu options found in the DSREPAIR.NLM menu. It will detect the installed NDS version and show the appropriate NDSRepair menu options.
This utility existed earlier to support eDirectory version 8.5 , 8.6 and 8.7. The new version of this utility supports eDirectory version 8.8 (including 8.8 SP2). Major changes include support for multiple instance, support for platforms as SunOS and AIX. This utility enables users to perform all operations supported on UNIX platforms for dsrepair through an easy to use menu based interface.

Hi,
This is a useful tool so I decided to make a simple rpm package of it.
It's available in the OpenSUSE Buildservice.

I don't understand why NDSrepair is so different on Linux.
NSSMU looks pretty much the same as on Netware, we should do the same with dsrepair.
Anyway, this tool is pretty cool ;)
