Volume Price Discounts
With Volume Price Discounts, partners can compete for larger opportunities with greater agility since large orders will require fewer special pricing requests. When an order meets or exceeds specified purchase volumes, Volume Price Discounts may be applied to the order. The greater the unit quantity, the greater the discount level that may be awarded.
Most Volume Price Discounts are built directly into the Novell quoting tools for Volume License Agreement (VLA) and Master License Agreement (MLA) orders.
However, volume discounts are not automatically displayed for Business-to-Consumer or Government-to-Citizen licenses. To receive a volume discount quote for one of these products, please email our volume pricing team.

In general, Volume Price Discounts apply to:
- All Novell products*
- Individual orders at the line item or SKU level (discounts are not cumulative across multiple orders or over time) and are only applied to pricing from the Novell Corporate Price List.
- Orders containing new License or combined License+Maintenance part numbers
- Product quantities in excess of 1,000 units for new Licenses or License+Maintenance part numbers
- Business-to-Consumer or Government-to-Citizen quantities in excess of one million units
*Various Novell or Third Party Products, including Novell Open Workgroup Suite, may be excluded from volume discounts at the discretion of Novell.
