Years ago I came across this handy chart that showed a small history of eDirectory versions and platform support. Recently I decided to update it to include the newer versions and more details about the versions of operating systems supported.

Note: This information has not been vetted by Novell, but I did collect it from the various documentation available.

If you have any additional rows and columns you'd like to see leave a note, or if you have corrections, by all means please let me know!!

Many thanks to whomever the original author was for starting this handy tool!

UPDATE:
I've updated this image based on your feedback to include SLES 11 and the 64 bit version of eDirectory. Many thanks also to all the folks on the TTP list that helped fill this in!!

Thanks for doing this! Great reference to have, to track eDirectory names and versions. It gets way too confusing to keep track of otherwise!

Thanks for your effort and special thanks to the original author. I know how difficult is it to find those eDirectory version information. It would be definitely help lot many engineers and customer around.

Include SLES 10 SP4 OES2 SP? and SLES 11 SP1 OES11
