Teaming Feeds is a quick way for you to constantly be aware of the activity on the Teaming Website within your company. This new addition to Teaming is similar to the What's New feature that is found on the new mobile user interface.
To access Teaming Feeds, simply click Teaming Feed on the sidebar at the left of the Teaming website.
General Features
Clicking the button opens a separate window that you can leave running in the background. An example of this window is shown below.
Automatic Updating
The Teaming Feeds window automatically updates every five minutes, which keeps you informed of even the most recent activity in your business. You also have the option to manually refresh by using the button on the top left of the page.
Sophisticated Design
Teaming Feeds uses a sophisticated high-capacity caching mechanism. This means that the system is designed to run effectively even if 10,000 users are simultaneously using it.
Specific Features
Micro-Blog
Clicking the Micro-blog button opens a box that allows you to post to your micro-blog. This feature, combined with the feed option to track micro-blogs, allows Teaming Feeds to be used like Twitter.
Feed Options
The Teaming Feeds window allows you to view activity on your Teaming Website, including the ability to choose between viewing updates of activity in your Teams, tracked places, site-wide, or on micro-blogs.
Whether you are a long-time user of Teaming, or just getting started, Teaming Feeds is a great addition to the many features that Teaming provides you and your company. In addition to receiving real-time updates on any changes your co-workers make on Teaming, you can click any entry to quickly make a comment. This allows for a faster exchange of ideas, and also a greater grasp of what is happening within your company.
