Jonathan Golan is the Senior Product Manager for BSM in the outbound product management group at Novell. He is responsible for maintaining the strategic direction and technical innovation of the BSM product suite, keeping Novell BSM competitive in the marketplace and making sure that Novell BSM meets the needs of Novell's customers.
Mr. Golan joined Novell in 2008 as part of the Managed Objects acquisition. At Managed Objects Mr. Golan was the Director of BSM Architecture, traveling the world to ensure that the Managed Objects BSM products were meeting customer needs, and assisting with complex implementations requiring a holistic view of the datacenter. Prior to joining Managed Objects Mr. Golan was the Subject Matter Expert for BSM at Compuware Corporation where he assisted in the sales cycle and implementation planning of difficult BSM deployments. Mr. Golan first became acquainted with BSM as a developer at Proxima Technology where he helped develop the Centauri BSM product suite, and held various management and consulting positions culminating in his management of presales and consulting for the Americas until the acquisition of Proxima Technology by Compuware Corporation.
Mr. Golan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, is a Staff Sergeant in the Army Reserve and competes in Ironman Triathlons in his spare time.
