Collaboration TechFest – Americas (Aug 11th - 15th)
Who: Novell Partners
Where: Novell Provo Campus – Building B
Here's the What:
Novell solutions provide real customer value and are key IT services elements for thousands of companies. New service capabilities are arriving in the recent and upcoming releases of Novell Open Enterprise Server, Novell Teaming + Conferencing, and Novell GroupWise.
To help you get a jump on providing successful deployment and support of these key services to your customers, we're having a TechFest!
During the week, you'll also have the opportunity to get insights from key Product Management teams into the strategy and direction Novell is taking to continue to improve and grow these core offerings.
TechFest offers two tracks – Infrastructure and Collaboration. Here's an overview of what you'll gain by attending.
Infrastructure Track
Focusing on the core service capabilities found in Open Enterprise Server 2, you'll learn how to deploy and manage advanced file services, cluster services on Linux, and integrate Active Directory and eDirectory environments in a way that makes it easy for all IT administrators to perform their daily responsibilities.

Collaboration is a significant disruptor to virtually every organization today. The proliferation of Facebook, MySpace, Linkedin, and other social networking venues being leveraged by more and more corporate employees demands attention on management.
Providing structure to this somewhat unstructured approach to communication is a challenge, and must be integrated with the more formal Enterprise Messaging platforms already deployed at the heart of organizations.
