Very exciting news today from Novell as they launch the Novell Vibe Collaboration Platform at the Enterprise 2.0 conference in California.
I have been using Novell Vibe OnPrem, formerly known as Novell Teaming, for a few years now. It has certainly come a long way in its evolution from a simple documentation storage and sharing tool, to a true social platform. As the GroupWise team has found cool ways to integrate the two products, we have discovered what an asset this technology and capabilities can be to the email and calendaring features. The ability to display, search and soon 'attach' content from Novell Vibe OnPrem as easily as you display, search and attach your GroupWise content bring these solutions to an 'ease of use' status that will empower users and expand abilities to 'Get things Done'!
In addition, I have also been very much involved in the Novell Vibe Cloud product. This is a great social tool that allows communities, teams, groups and people of like interests or goals to easily connect, collaborate and deliver. I have been able to effectively use this product to stay connected with the GroupWise Community. End-users, partners, administrators and customers have all easily found me. I regularly use this medium to make GroupWise announcements, find expertise, get crowd thought/feedback and share ideas, plans and designs.
Please take the time to review some of the great information available about this platform and the solutions it provides.
