GWAVA Retain 2 Supports Amazon Cloud Storage
Retain 2 from GWAVA is now available for download and offers a number of your top-requested features while adding support for the latest additions to GroupWise.
"We are excited to offer support for archiving storage using the Amazon S3 storage cloud computing service with our latest version of Retain," states Taylor Cochrane, Product Manager for GWAVA. "Our customers are always looking towards the newest options in data storage and we are glad to provide a wide range of options."
Retain 2 also offers a new feature called "litigation hold," which marks litigation-critical emails to avoid accidental deletion.
The new rich client in Retain 2 lets users export and publish entire mailboxes, multiple mailboxes or post offices. With the new all-inclusive viewer, the entire exported data set can be searched and reviewed all in one self-contained package.
New indexing features are also part of Retain 2, including support for the Exalead indexing engine and increased indexing support for the built-in Lucene engine.
