A Forum reader recently asked:
"One of our Senior execs wants this end result:
In order to send an external email, they want to require picking it out of the address book instead of having it autofill. The only autofill options they want are internal GroupWise addresses being pulled directly from the Novell Address Book.
They also want to know if there is a way to turn this on globally."
And here's the response from a few Forum readers ...
Yes, you can probably accomplish what you want.
1. Open the addressbook and look in the File/Name completion search order.
2. You can remove the frequent contact from the list of addressbooks considered by name completion or disable name completion all together.
3. You can also right click on "frequent contacts" and choose Properties. This is where you determine what populates the frequent contacts.
The search order is saved in the registry, somewhere in HKCU. If you have ZENworks, you might want to use snapshot to see what in the registry is modified when you pull the extra books out. Then perhaps you can push those registry settings out to everyone.
And here's the key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell\GroupWise\Address Book - User Interface\Search Books
