Export to Disk - Formativ Applet

(View Disclaimer)

license:
Free

This applet will save items selected in a Groupwise folder to a user-designated directory on disk. Each message is output to a unique subfolder under that directory. Each such folder contains the original message in wpd format, the message info is saved as a txt file as well as any attachments. Finally, an HTML file (index.html) is placed in the selected directory with hyperlinks to each message, the info file and each attachment. This applet was developed in response to the need to reduce users' archives which had grown too large. Updated: 23 Jul 2003 - The updated version adds the functionality of appending to an existing index.html file in a given directory.

*The installation file contains one or more Formativ applets, a brief help text file and any data required by the solution.

Note: To run the applet available on this page, you will need to install one of the Formativ products below:

  • Developer - For GroupWise developers. Formativ Developer enables rapid GroupWise enhancement, customization and creation of enterprise solutions. Use Developer to run, customize and extend the free solutions available from Formativ Applet Central.
