Blog Entry
The Novell OpenAudio group recently produced two very good podcasts featuring interviews with David Condrey and they are now up on the Novell OpenAudio website at: http://www.novell.com/feeds/openaudio/.
Part 1 is just over 11 minutes and covers the basics of Novell Storage Manager. This is a great podcast for learning exactly what Novell Storage Manager is and how it delivers ROI.
Part 2 is just over 26 minutes and covers some of the new features and enhancements in Novell Storage Manager 2.5 including auxiliary storage, disaster recovery, and what is probably the best discussion you'll ever hear on Action Objects. David also talks about the recently published IDC paper and the story of how it came about.
Disclaimer: As with everything else at Cool Solutions, this content is definitely not supported by Novell (so don't even think of calling Support if you try something and it blows up).
It was contributed by a community member and is published "as is." It seems to have worked for at least one person, and might work for you. But please be sure to test, test, test before you do anything drastic with it.
