Tool
JoshFTP is a replacement for the Novell DOS FTP client.
It is reliable and flexible. It runs under MS-DOS using the Novell Client32 TCP/IP network stack. It lets you transfer files between your MS-DOS machine and a standard FTP server on the network. It is a command line tool, so it is perfect for use in automated batch files.
If you are tired of having to reboot machines that crashed while running the buggy Novell FTP client, then this is for you!
Disclaimer: As with everything else at Cool Solutions, this content is definitely not supported by Novell (so don't even think of calling Support if you try something and it blows up).
It was contributed by a community member and is published "as is." It seems to have worked for at least one person, and might work for you. But please be sure to test, test, test before you do anything drastic with it.
