Novell is expanding its Collaboration Solution with the addition of a hosted version of Novell Conferencing. The new version of Novell Conferencing offers you the ability to conduct virtual meetings, demos, and Webinars. This cost-effective alternative is simple to use and can significantly reduce costs required for face-to-face travel by allowing you to instantly share documents, desktops, applications, Web pages, whiteboards, audio, video, and record meetings––without installing any software.

DimDim?

So this is based on DimDim? Does this mean that Novell Conferencing 2.0 is now base don DimDim and the old architecture has been scrapped?
Has novell added any special "novell" sauce? The current version of dimdim has some limits with linux desktops like the inability to share their desktop.

Good questions.
With the upcoming release of the new Novell Conferencing, Conferencing 1.0 is no longer available for purchase. However, Conferencing 1.0 will continue to be supported through Oct as part of the normal Novell product support policies. The new Novell Conferencing is only available as a hosted option initially, but will be available as a on-premise solution later in 2010. Customers that are current on Conferencing 1.0 maintenance will have free access to the new Conferencing when the on-premise version is available,
Also later this year desktop sharing for Linux will be available.
