If you've been following things here at Novell, you've probably heard about our entry into the emerging intelligent workload management market. Industry analyst firms are often the first to profile a new market. According to IDC, “collectively, cloud, virtualization, and shifting application architectures are creating a perfect storm for enterprise IT organizations.” This perfect storm is creating challenges associated to workload automation and portability, security and compliance and business service management. IWM will be able to deconstruct these challenges and formulate a pragmatic solution that integrates virtualization and workload management, security and identity management, business service management and deployment models such as appliances that allow ISV’s to build out their apps.

The Intelligent workload management market is driving demand for technology vendors to provide tools for cloud providers or enterprises that build, secure, manage and measure their IT infrastructure.
