Imagine my surprise when one of our worst Mac users has his assistant call in a help desk ticket to request a new quota on his mailbox. The ticket contained the following: "needs to have his mailbox size increased with position change....said this would be an 'unlimited' mailbox, but it would be the same settings as for other deans." I managed to bite my tongue before I blurted out something guaranteed to grant me a pink slip. Instead I went to speak with the help desk tech who took the call, explained about the quotas again to ensure they understood that no one gets unlimited mailboxes and shared a laugh about how some people don't understand disk space isn't endless.

I closed the ticket with the response of: "Quota is already at the size for Deans.". I never did change his quota and I haven't heard a peep back ‑ yet. I'm sure this one will bite me back at some future date.
