Introducing eControl 3.6!

eControl 3.6 delivers the first Web 2.0 Unified Management Console for delegating management, account creation, audit and user self-service tasks across multiple systems including: eDirectory, GroupWise, Active Directory, Exchange, OpenLDAP, Apple Open Directory, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft and others.

What eControl 3.6 delivers:

• New eControl extensions – You can now extend eControl’s Web 2.0 unified account management, provisioning, user self-service and auditing to your other key line-of-business applications. Need to deliver unified management from a single browser for third-party applications like SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and others? eControl delivers everything from account creation, delegated role-based management, password self-service, account activation and more.
• Enhanced user self-service and forgot password – eControl’s enhanced user self-service and forgot password can now be configured across multiple systems. By connecting eControl Forgot Password to your LDAP, Active Directory or eDirectory system, you can pre-populate answers so your users can benefit from eControl Forgot Password without having to login and answer the required questions. eControl delivers an immediate return on your user self-service investment.
• Self-service account activation – eControl’s new user self-service account activation allows employees or students to activate their own account. View a video of how eControl 3.6 user Self-service can provide user account activation.
• New eControl themes – eControl 3.6 introduces new themes that allow you to adjust the background colour and other display options of the website footer, header, login page, available languages and site logo. This is an example of a client who has used the new eControl theme features to provide corporate branding, corporate messaging and an eControl Self-service acceptable use disclaimer.
• Improved administration panel – eControl’s improved administration panel helps you get more done, faster and with fewer clicks. We have taken your feedback and added a number of navigation and administration enhancements.
