We were looking for some naive/innocent/dumb real-world examples of actual end-user support calls that you (or someone you know) have personally experienced recently. We found thousands of funny help desk calls online, but were looking for personal experiences.
The 5 most interesting posts were selected by a panel of Novell judges on March 31, 2011 and the authors of those posts will each receive a $25 iTunes Gift Card.
Congratulations to the winners:
- Kevin Hurni
- Ryan Sinnwell
- Denise Brinkman
- Jared Freeman
- Mike Brady
Disclaimer: As with everything else at Cool Solutions, this content is definitely not supported by Novell (so don't even think of calling Support if you try something and it blows up).
It was contributed by a community member and is published "as is." It seems to have worked for at least one person, and might work for you. But please be sure to test, test, test before you do anything drastic with it.
