Workshare Professional is a tool to compare Microsoft Word documents, remove hidden meta-data etc. In our case we've just virtualized the Compare component. Prerequisites: Microsoft Office 20XX installed and patched, otherwise you can't install compare. In our case I've used Office 2003. During the installation Workshare downloads several updates: Update for Office 2003 (KB907417) Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update (x86) Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update (x86) Microsoft ReportViewer (x86) Open XML Format SDK 1.0 I'll recommend to capture these updates as well, so the application run's even if these components are not installed.
