Novell Filr training available
If your team needs training on Filr administration, check out the online course on Filr Basics, which will be presented on several dates between May and September. The cost is $700, or you can use training credits.
Course Description
In this class, the student will be introduced to Filr.
Section 1: Installation and configuration of the virtual appliance
Section 2: Provisioning of LDAP users via LDAP
Section 3: Configuration of sharing for both internal and external users
Section 4: Configuration of net folders
Section 5: Installation configuration of the client software both the desktop and mobile.
Audience
This class is for anyone wishing to deploy Filr in a small environment or to produce a lab or proof of concept installation of Filr.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites include a working knowledge of eDirectory, active directory, and their respective filesystems.
